Texas-bred Country Candy was one of the top sellers at the Texas 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale when the filly by Texas stallion Intimidator went for $65,000 from Asmussen Horse Center to Danny Keene, and the filly is starting to look like a bargain as she broke her maiden by an easy 9 1/2 lengths for trainer J.R. Caldwell on Friday at Lone Star Park. Here’s a shot of her as hip #47 in the under tack show.
